WoodTV8's Live Interview: Wood tv: This segment is done by Emily, co-anchor for the Daybreak/Morning News for WoodTV 8. She came to our home to interview us here. She also went to the scene of the accident and interview Tim’s brother, Doug. Emily used previous footage from Heather’s segment, and she had us on live as well. All 4 kiddos came along for the morning. We got up at 4 am and left the house by 5:15 am, arriving at the studio at 6 am. We waited in the “Green Room” with a guest who was promoting Laugh Fest that morning on the news. We shared cookies that the South Olive CRC GEMS made for our family with him, and we ate some as our breakfast. We were on before you knew it. The kids waited in the Green Room while Tim and I were ushered into the set. Afterwards, Emily gave us a tour of Wood Tv studios, and we were able to spend time talking with Emily’s co-anchor Brett and meteorologist Terri DeBoer. After we left, we had enough time to go out for breakfast as a family to Bill’s Family Restaurant, near the station. We are honored to have interviewed with Emily, and we pray that God is glorified.
