Farmer Tim: Families Helping Families: This interview was done in December with Chad, a salesman from WJQ 99.3. Listen to the interview, and you will hear why Ace and Sabrina are interviewing him. Every Christmas, WJQ offers a “Families Helping Families” to their listeners. Our family was nominated as a family that could use help. From this ministry, Ace, his 2 beautiful daughters, Chad & Jodie came up to Tim’s hospital room at Butterworth to deliver gifts to our family. My parents, Doug and Claire, and Tim mom, Carole, were there, along with our 4 kiddos, Tim and me. The kids opened their gifts: cool toys that Ace’s girls helped pick out. Tim opened new Carharrt bibs, coat, sweatshirt, farm boots, hat, and gloves. The kids also opened 4 calf bottles…signifiying the 4 calves that they will receive once Tim feels up to farmning with them once again. And last, but certainly not least, I opened a HUGE surprise…a new laptop, all set up and ready to roll. I had been posting updates from a shared computer in the heart center or from my very small phone with limited memory, which worked. However, the laptop opened up several opportunities for our then separated family to communicate with one another, and for me to communicate with many others who were eagerly awaiting updates for prayer. We give thanks to God for the thoughtful generosity of the listeners who have helped our family though this ministry. What a blessing! We are honored, and God is glorified.
